I totally agree with Brads point about the kindness in Adams characters. One of my favorites is the chef in Spanglish. He was so kind and good. RIP to one of NBA'S GOATS. RIP to all the other families aboard that helicopter. Still can't believe this.💔. Uncut Gems. Whenever you see the a24 logo you know that after the movie youll be a new person. Seeing Adam doing drama makes me so happy for him. He deserves dramatic roles if the character fits his type. Man can act. Good time was way better. Is there sardonicast fan fic ? i need to know. Don't listen to the haters, this movie feels like Half-Life 2 in a different city meets District 9's sequel set in Chicago. This movie is literally disgusting. And that's saying a lot because I've seen a lot of horrible movies. The entire movie included just screaming by Adam Sandler in a horrible New York accent. I almost left halfway through, but I paid for the movie, so I sat through it. There was no plot, character development, or appeal. The only people who would enjoy this movie are teenage boys. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

What happened to Bennys neck. This is a touching way to get past a divide that all too recently is being widened for personal and political goals. Acknowledge what was, what is and what could be. I highly recommend skipping this movie. It's a nonstop torturous film that keeps you wincing at the poor decisions of the protagonist. There was even a low rumble throughout the movie to keep you ill at ease in case the rest of the movie wasn't already doing that. It was unrelenting and I was relieved when it was over. Not to mention all of the negative Jewish Stereotypes reinforced in the movie. I'd stay away from this one if I were you.

Things I liked: Between Gems and (almost 20 years earlier) Punch Drunk Love, there is no denying Adam Sandler's acting chops. In fact, there's no weak acting anywhere in this film. The cinematography is absolutely stunning, and the soundtrack is great too (Now I've had 'Rain' by Madonna stuck in my head for the past week! In some sequences, there are brief glimpses of the kinetic energy that made Good Time such a masterpiece.
Things I disliked: No matter how you spin it, this is not in the same league as Good Time. It's mostly the story and theme (or lack thereof) that I found lacking. Tonally it was a bit of a mess. I feel like they should have just gone all the way for a black comedy. It's marketed as a 'crime thriller' but it didn't really live up to either of those genres for me...
ADAM FOR OSCAR NOMINATION OR I WILL RIOT. I haven't seen their previous movies, so i had no idea what to expect. Turn out it's very interesting look into this characters life. Adam Sandler can be hit or miss, but his dramatic roles imo always deliver. It's very intense, just saying, but i would definitely recommend.
Many Adam Sandler fans did not like this movie. It totally goes against his brand but it is a good movie. This movie feels like adam sandler doing an impression of jonah hill in wolf of wall street. This movie makes all other heroes movies(avengers included) looks like a joke. Something about seeing adam sandler shot in the face leaves me disturbed.
When I was a little girl in the late 60's my dad used to still drive down South and stop according to the Green Book route. I remember my grandmothers making sandwiches sodas and chips for our trips. Great movie. Uncut gems watch32. I loved Adam Sandler performance it's his best movie so far.
